Wigton Choral Society was founded more than 50 years ago and has gained a reputation for a high standard of performance with imaginative programming, latterly under the baton of musical director Ian Wright, who took up the post in January 2008

Wigton Choral Society peforms annual concerts in June and December, as well as joining Cumbria Rural Choirs for a joint concert each March
